i'm the guy behind the Camera
I’ve been a photographer for seven years, but honestly, it still feels exciting every time I pick up my camera. I’m the type who notices things most people walk right past; light hitting a wall just right, a background that quietly tells a whole story, or a moment that’s about to turn into a great shot if you blink too slow. That’s the stuff I chase. I shoot on location because real environments bring out real energy, whether we’re in your home, a field, a busy street, or someplace you love for your own reasons.
My sessions are easygoing and collaborative. If you feel awkward in front of the camera, I’ve got you. If you’re full of ideas, I’m all ears. And if you want to show up with three outfits, a prop, and a dog who refuses to look anywhere except at squirrels, that’s perfect.

L.A.W. Photography is named after my son, Lucas A. Watson, and that meaning keeps me grounded in why I do this. Capturing people (who they are, what they value, the stories they’re living right now) that’s what matters to me. I’m here to make the whole experience fun, comfortable, and something you’ll want to remember.

Once we plan your session, I’ll confirm the date, location, and all the details. You’ll get clear guidance and prep tips to make shoot day effortless.
3. Shoot Day
This is the fun part; You relax and be yourself while I capture real expressions and moments. I direct where needed, but mostly keep things natural.
4. The Finishing Touch
After the session, I handle editing and post-production to highlight every image. Your private online gallery will be ready quickly, so you can download, share, and relive your moments right away.

Yes, I work outdoors or in your home, anywhere within 100 miles.

I use perspective, environment, and composition to tell a story. My editing is tailored to the type of session and the mood you want.

Book through my site or by call/text. A deposit secures your date.
Booking at least one month ahead is recommended. I book up to a year out.

Rescheduling is always OK. Cancellations need 7+ days notice; within 7 days, the full balance is due.

About an hour of shooting, unlimited outfits, posing guidance, and the option to bring guests, pets, or props.

Portraits: 2–3 days.
Events/weddings: 4–6 weeks.
Most sessions include 15–20 edited images. -
I do offer retouching. RAW files and prints/albums are available for an additional fee.

Yes, you can share freely (tagging me is appreciated). I post client photos about two months after the session.
